SOCIAL VALUE
Our Approach
At Engage TM, we understand the power of opportunity. We work closely with government-funded training programmes and leading UK companies to help individuals return to employment, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Supporting Veterans
With over 250,000 veterans unemployed in the UK, there is a pressing need to support their transition into meaningful work. Veterans often face unique challenges, including lower rates of self-employment and higher risks of mental health issues such as PTSD, depression, and substance use. Additionally, more than 3% of the prison population comprises veterans, highlighting the difficulties some face in reintegrating into civilian life. By working with organisations like RBLI – LifeWorks, Front Foot, and BFRS, we can help veterans build stable careers and provide them with the support they need to succeed.

Giving Ex-Offenders a Second Chance
Employment plays a crucial role in reducing reoffending rates, yet only 17% of ex-offenders secure jobs upon release. Research shows that stable employment can make individuals up to 9% less likely to return to crime, yet half of those released from prison reoffend within the first year. By creating opportunities for ex-offenders to reintegrate into the workforce, we can break cycles of crime and poverty, positively influencing families and communities.
Supporting the Long-Term Unemployed and Disabled People
With 1.5 million people unemployed in the UK and around 13,000 traffic management vacancies nationwide, there is a significant opportunity to connect job seekers with sustainable careers. Our partners’ courses equip individuals with TM qualifications and core employability skills, preparing them for the workplace. Traffic management offers a route into employment for those with little or no formal education, providing real prospects for progression and long-term career development.

Our goal is not just to fill short-term positions but to help individuals build stable, rewarding careers. By placing candidates in temporary roles, we allow them to gain industry experience, develop their skills, and build connections that can lead to permanent employment in the traffic management sector.
